A former child and youth program assistant for two Marine Corps child development centers, Miss Kayleigh has made a commitment to Montessori education and has added tremendous value to the classroom.
Miss Kayleigh was the child and youth program assistant for two Marine Corps. child development centers before making the switch to Montessori education. She is currently studying early childhood education and hopes to then pursue her Montessori credentialing. RMA has been truly lucky to find such an incredible assistant for our Primary 2 classroom.
Miss Kayleigh came to RMA ready to adopt the Montessori method of education and eager to learn and grow. She is excited about rearranging the classroom and bringing in new ideas and fresh perspectives. She maintains great organization in the physical aspects of the room and demonstrates great classroom management during the work cycle, which allows her head teacher the time to give more in depth lessons and individualized work with the students. She takes a very active role in the P2 class, and she truly sees the value in her responsibilities of bettering the students and the classroom.
She is collaborative with her co and head teachers, flexible in adjusting and adopting different viewpoints, very effective in communicating, and she is a pleasure to work alongside. She has furthered her knowledge of Montessori so much in the time that she has been with RMA, and her continued commitment towards Montessori will only benefit our school.
