We believe it’s important to provide plenty of opportunities for children to partake in extracurricular activities in order to become well-rounded individuals.
We currently offer soccer and yoga as part of our primary and elementary programs during school hours. As we grow and expand we plan to introduce additional activities like t-ball, basketball, theater, and other clubs (especially once we include an upper elementary sector).
We also enrich classroom learning with engaging presentations. Highlights include Insectropolis for our invertebrate study, Cedar Run for vertebrates, Dinosaur Rocks Ocean Life for the Great Barrier Reef, a bird handler with a Macaw for our South America unit, and visits from the OCPD, OCFP, and a doctor for our community helper unit. Our “Stomp Out Bullies” BMX presentation is also a big hit with the kids!
We focus on nurturing the whole child by offering in-person demonstrations that bring learning to life with context and excitement. Additionally, we incorporate movement and art through engaging programs like yoga and soccer, enriching the educational experience.
